First Post!

Okay before we begin, let me just clarify that this blog (depsite the URL) has nothing to do with waffles. Now, don't get me wrong, I do enjoy waffles as much as the next guy but this blog is going to focus more on the news/current events, with my own views of the subject kind of thrown in as well.

I figured it was about time for me to do a blog of this nature because the news is getting more interesting (and in some ways more scary) day by day. I figure the more coverage people can find on a subject, the better. Of course if I can make someone laugh in the process then it's even better now isn't it?

I hope you do decide to follow this blog, it won't be updated on any set schedule, just if I come accross an interesting news story or a major world event occures; I hope to get a daily update but they may fall to a weekly update, we'll see what happens...anyhow, I will be posting my news blog later on today; please stop by and check it out, cuz without people it's not a blog, it's just a bunch of words on a website that mean nothing...
